CAST AND CREW

Firass Dirani as “Charlie”

Firass studied at the Actors College of Theatre and Television. He has appeared in feature films such as Pitch Black, The Black Balloon and most recently Crooked Business.

“What Fieldsy commits to, he commits 150%. He puts himself in your shoes and goes there. And that’s what you love to see from a director - some passion.  And it’s no artificial rubbish; it’s stuff from the heart. In terms of on-set direction, he never made things complicated. He guided and supported me throughout the shoot. I owe a lot to Mr fields. I'll be definitely hounding him about his next project,” he said.

As a Lebanese-Australian he was excited to be part of a project that showcased many facets of the Lebanese culture.

“I'm proud to be part of a film that deals with Lebanese issues in Australia for the first time in Australian film. I'm proud that this film celebrates the Lebanese culture and also gives an insight on the social preconceptions that members of the community can relate to and may experience. Also its a heart felt story with morals - so we hope to influence people in a positive light.”

He hopes to continue acting in Australian films for as long as real Australian stories are told.
